If workers bring information about wrongdoings to the attention of their employer or a relevant organization, they are protected under the EU Directive 2019/1937 on protection of persons who report breaches of the Union law. This is commonly referred to as EU Whistleblowing Directive.
Workers are protected also under local law and APS internal regulation G-PR-02A Group Whistleblowing and Grievance Procedure.
The Whistleblower Hotline provides a secure way for employees to anonymously submit their concerns.
To ensure confidentiality, the raised concerns are delivered directly to the Group Compliance and the Group Internal Audit. Confidentiality and anonymity of the person making the complaint will be fully maintained within the bounds of the law in any ensuing investigation.
